My final design project in Belfast is the fruit of analysis of people’s needs and expectations for quality homes, as well as a consideration of what I feel is good for the City. Belfast Central Library sits adjacent to my site, and became a key driver for the project both in terms of material choices and also fostering connections at ground plane. Living City is about people living in a City. Hence, the ground floor of my project is given over to a range of public programs such as a bakery, cafe, and bookstore with workshop space. In addition, a public square with a playground, picnic area and gardens are held in the centre of the scheme.
